Marques Mendes & Associados Ltd. is a Portuguese based company that operates the SADIF Newsletter & Investment Management Portal. The portal offers independent equity research tools and reports enabling individual investors and institutions to make better informed investment decisions.
What sets SADIF (STP Analytics for Decisions in Investment and Finance) apart from other investment analytics solution providers is our core platform specialized in the decision-making process. We believe that through specializing in this area, we are able to better guarantee consistency, innovation and efficiency. While other companies offer tools that may be used in specific individual stages of decision making, our platform is designed to offer assistance at all stages of the investment decision process.
SADIF's offerings can be divided into two sections – products and services. Currently our offerings revolve primarily around our StockMarks stock rating service, which analyzes the long term investment-attractiveness of stocks. We also offer seminars and courses through our SADIF Academy. We are in the final stages of development of a number of other products and tools for Straight Through Processing (STP) investing designed to assist investors in making informed decisions regarding their investments.
Our solutions are available both on a subscription basis for institutions/individuals and as licensing opportunities for businesses.

António José Marques Mendes
Prof. Marques Mendes has more than 30 years of experience in various positions. He is a professor of International Finance at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. His previous positions include: Senior Banker and Unit Head at the EBRD Banking Department, London and Member of Parliament in the Portuguese and European Parliaments; He has a PhD in Economics from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK and is the author of various innovative ideas in economics and finance, namely the Seesaw Theory of Asset Price Determination which he hopes will cause a much needed revolution in finance theory.

The Newsletter is the result of the SADIF Project which originated in discussions during investment banking lectures by Prof. Marques Mendes . The premise for the project was based on three simple needs of any modern investor:
Integration of the many financial tools on the web
Keeping current with innovation
Staying up-to-date with the latest information
Seed financing for the initial development costs was provided by Prof. Marques Mendes and a research grant from the Portuguese Agency for Innovation.
